Synopsis: Based on a true story, a young fur trapper becomes the indentured science experiment of an ambitious doctor after a catastrophic accident. The lad has a fistula, an opening through the skin and into the stomach, which the doctor uses to conduct experiments on digestion. The fur trapper must fight for equality, or be doomed to life as a sideshow attraction.
