Synopsis: A short film about truly understanding your past family’s history and putting yourself in their lives and experiences. Clara asks her mom to borrow her ring but her mother refuses because it’s a special ring. Her mother, Constance, explains to Clara that it is a generational ring that was passed down throughout her family. Clara does not see the true importance of the ring so she takes it when her mother is not looking. Moments after taking the ring she starts to see the lives of the past owners of the ring. She goes through different important time periods in black history and sees her relatives experiences firsthand.
