Synopsis: Frank’s a blundering family man in his 40s. Despite his attempts to seduce his wife, she’d rather rewatch Gilmore Girls on Netflix. To make matters worse, his father-in-law lives with them, his best friend gives horrendous advice, and social media keeps feeding him reminders that he’s mid-life and miserable. Scrolling IG, he stumbles on Izzy’s “The Listening Lez,” a lesbian and amateur therapist who listens to straight men rant about their issues. As time passes, an unlikely friendship forms. When a serendipitous run-in reveals there’s more to Frank and Izzy’s relationship than meets the eye, Frank must confront what he values more: his newfound friendship or the fidelity of his marriage.
