SYNOPSIS:

Goksin, 19, lives in Istanbul with his family. He failed the first university entrance exam he took, and the year after did his best and managed to enter in the second percentile. Goksin sacrificed a lot to score this, even to the point of breaking up with his beloved girlfriend to focus on his studies. This is Goksin’s last chance. He must gain admission to a university. But Goksin comes face to face with a significant truth the day university scores are announced: He must decide what he wants to become in life.

DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY:

Alkim Ozmen is a Turkish filmmaker based in Istanbul. After his graduation from Istanbul Bilgi University Film Department by a M.A degree in 2005, he started to work as an assistant director. He took part in the production of over eighty episodes of TV series and nine feature films as (first or second) assistant director. One of those films is “Once Upon a Time in Anatolia”, which was bestowed Grand Prix by the Jury in Cannes Film Festival in 2011. He also directed two short documentaries and four short films. He’s currently working on his debut feature film script.
