SYNOPSIS:

Jade, 20 years old, hangs with a vampy schadenfreude and is met with startling intimacy and a tragic discovery in which she’ll have to do the only thing she’s been afraid of: grow up.

DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY:

After dropping out of high school, Kane studied fiction and film before working odd jobs eventually leading to advertising. Upon revisiting a thesis draft of Behind Some Dark Cloud, the project fortuitously came to fruition with the support and collaboration of the incredible people involved. The film was shot in Kane’s native Pennsylvania. Kane is now a screenwriting fellow at the AFI conservatory, but mostly cares about horses, travel, Russian literature, and Outer Space.
