Synopsis: “The Entertainer” is a compelling narrative about Gil Harrod, a 57-year-old musician, grappling with his past and the pressure of an upcoming life-changing performance. When his essential piano case gets lost at the airport, it triggers a series of events that force Gil to confront his insecurities, his relationship with his daughter Ayanna, and his fear of performing without his programmed keyboard. The venue manager pressures him to go onstage anyway, believing it’s his last chance at stardom. Gil considers walking away, but encouraged by his daughter’s faith in him, he decides to perform without his equipment, facing his self-doubt and taking a chance on himself.
