Synopsis: Fragments offers an intimate look at Janie Hart’s journey of coping with and healing from Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. When a trigger thrusts her into an emotional flashback, she finds herself physically in the present but emotionally overtaken by her younger self—riddled with fear and trauma—causing her to relive and project her worst fears onto the present. As the past tightens its grip on her reality, Janie must confront and care for the wounded child within her, offering the support she never received. Only by acknowledging and nurturing her younger self, can the hold she has taken on the present release and allow Janie to re-root herself in reality.
