Since its inaugural year in 2013, the Chelsea Film Festival has given emerging filmmakers from the United States and worldwide a voice, support, and an international platform in the heart of New York City to showcase their films with a focus on Global Issues. With New York Premieres of over 300 Official Selections, the Festival has helped to change the narrative on universal issues, bridge cultures, spark discussion as well as jumpstart the careers of amazing storytellers.
In its Fifth Edition, the Chelsea Film Festival has tripled the number of countries represented, tripled the number of selections and attendees, and created a dynamic community of industry professionals and supporters who champion indie filmmaking.
